Portraits collection: spontaneous interpretation of the soul, where past, present and future meet in a continuous explosion of emotions.
Acrylic on canvas, 50 x 70 cm. Year 2012
Need to portray the human figure has always recalled artists and put them in a kind of competition with themselves.
In particular, in the Portraits collection, Sergio Gianluca Notti not only feels this competition with himself alive, almost looming, but transforms it wisely.
Through net demarcation lines, he then takes this competition to a metaphysical plane, in which the portrait itself becomes a spontaneous interpretation of the soul, where past, present and future meet in a continuous explosion of emotions.
